The purpose of the Sr. Manager, Operations position is being part of the National Operations Team to lead & assist various initiatives and projects for testing and or rollout including Operational tests, new products, technology & equipment programs. The roles focus will be to support Field Operations on various new consulting initiatives, launch of new windows and the subject matter expert on various operational needs. Managing the overall system communication is critical to the role.
Essential Functions:
- Support with the launch new initiatives: Supports and develops new programs, products and strategic initiatives that are introduced to system through operational involvement in the implementation and execution. Communicates and educates DFPs and MFPs on implementation and requirements of each product/program. Conducts and manages any additional coaching for DFPs and MFPs based on support that the team needs based on our strategic drive for 5 initiatives.
- Window Execution: Leads on the execution of the marketing windows in SMO territories training DFPs, MFPs and franchisees. That will evolve working closely with cross functional teams, the Operational Excellence Manager and the Operations Managers on our marketing window execution initiatives
- General Operational Support: Supports the Sr. Director of Operations, Operations team along with Field Services & franchisees with implementing tools / resources and developing projects to drive overall franchisee profitability. This will include leading or assisting Ops initiatives that are in the plan to be tested or rolled. An example of this would be manage the REV Steritech Program to support the SMO Team and BDs to ensure the program is being executed at a high level along with on-going enhancements.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong communication and consultation skills, both verbal and written
- Effective program/project management skills.
- Effectively coordinates and manages multiple teams to achieve project goals
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
- Prior experience in restaurant operations and execution
A succesfull candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years of QSR experience at the managerial level.
- -Travel 30%
- Bachelors of Business Administration or International Hospitality and Tourism Degree
