Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager/Owner who also has experience managing relationships with internal people managers, project team members, stakeholders and vendors to enable a collaborative and effective environment. The Manager of Product Delivery will be responsible for day-to-day team and product delivery management for products and solutions delivered by Stepped Care Solutions, like Wellness Together Canada. This role requires a strong understanding of digital product management, vendor management, technology systems, excellent team and project management skills, and the ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our strategic objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of products throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept through post-launch, including: Managing relationships with internal people managers, project team members, stakeholders and vendors to enable a collaborative and effective environment, Facilitating discussions with internal and external stakeholders, and vendors to align on priorities, based data driven analysis from Impact and UX teams, Following a structured implementation process, identifying opportunities for improvement, Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, define product features, and prioritize development efforts; through regular meetings and communications, Translating business requirements into technical, specifications working closely with the Digital Product Manager and the development team, Overseeing, monitoring and reporting on product development and delivery, Monitoring, managing and mitigating issues and risks related to quality or schedule, Ensuring successful implementation and overseeing ongoing support and maintenance, Working with internal teams to develop and coordinate promotional communications including: External facing product demos, Campaigns, Knowledge shares
  • Provide relevant product delivery training to internal stakeholders.
  • Continue the development, management and maintenance of the product roadmaps in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including: Facilitating discussions with internal and external teams to set priorities and align on expectations, Setting realistic timelines and achievable timelines, Ensuring awareness and alignment on the roadmap across all internal and external teams, vendors and program partners.
  • Coach, manage, supervise, and support at least three cross-functional direct reports.
  • Manage the successful planning and delivery of updates and changes to digital products, in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders and teams including the: User Experience Manager (UXM), Vendor Digital Product Manager (DPM), Engagement Team, Awareness Team, Impact Team, Service Provider Team, Programming Team.
  • Manage the planning and delivery of product priorities and requested product updates from: Contractual obligations to funders and critical stakeholders, Internal and external product feedback, Research and data-driven initiatives.
  • Oversee the day to day operations of the Development service provider, including: Monitoring service adjustments, Troubleshooting of operational issues to resolution ensuring documentation is kept up to date, Managing workflow and refining service provider processes where there is an opportunity for improvement, Work with Service provider lead to effectively manage the service provider to ensure compliance with contract deliverables and service levels.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software product management as a Product Manager or Product Owner
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and proven experience making data-driven decisions with customers’ best experience in mind.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • In-depth knowledge of systems design, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and launching successful digital products and solutions.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills to build effective working relationships with internal and external people managers, teams and service providers.
  • 5+ years managing a product delivery project team
