We are currently seeking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement:
- Analyze critical Housing systems and prepare a detailed document of the services and functions they provide
- Prepare a detailed roadmap that outlines the best approach to transition the systems and their services and functions to a new platform:
o Sequence of systems and services to be moved
o Risks associated with moving each system, service/function
o User groups impacted
o Change management plans
o Stakeholders to involve
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, teams, and vendors to create a solution document for setting up the systems and services/functions in the new platform
- Prepare a project plan and schedule that outlines the timelines for each phase of the transition and sequence of services/functions to be moved
- Prepare and deliver bi-weekly project status updates to key stakeholders
- Facilitate steering committee meetings
- Facilitate the preparation of documents regarding Business Use Cases, defines test conditions and test cases.
- Facilitate the planning and conduct of Agile meetings ceremonies (daily stand up, product demos, retrospectives, grooming etc.).
- Facilitate the review and management of backlog and in progress items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate.
- Maintaining team metrics and report project statuses (e.g., velocity burn down charts, financial status, issues risks, etc.) on a regular basis to Business Owner, and to different stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven leadership skills to negotiate, motivate and manage large teams
- Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and changing priorities
- A minimum 2 year experience of Telecom (wireless) experience
- Strong coaching and leadership skills – experience with direct reports
- A minimum 7 years experience in either a business analysis or technical capacity.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
- Proven facilitation, planning & organization skills
- Strong knowledge of business analyst methodology and best practices (e.g. IIBA), proficiency using Project Management Tools including MS Office products (Excel, Work, PowerPoint) and MS Project and strong understanding of the Project Life Cycle. BA Certification is desirable but not mandatory
