Smartplant Electrical (Spel/Sel) Senior Administrator - Canada

As the foremost authority in this role, you will be entrusted with the setup, configuration, end-user support, and training of engineering design systems within an owner-operator environment. This role requires hands-on experience with the relevant design system and a comprehensive understanding of the business processes spanning across projects and operations lifecycles.

Requirements

• Location Flexibility: These positions may be based in either Canada or the USA. If you're in Canada, you will have Permanent Resident status or an open work permit. For those in the USA who are not citizens or Green Card holders, please ensure you can provide proof of eligibility to work
• Background in engineering business processes and data management (desirable)
• Strong grasp of SmartPlant Electrical application in projects and operations
• Demonstrated expertise in SPEL reporting functions
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL) and familiarity with programming languages (Visual Basic, C#)
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and team leadership
• Ability to assess data processing technology
• 7+ years of SmartPlant Electrical administration experience within an owner-operator or EPC environment
• Competence in system software planning, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in documenting methods and delivering training
• An engineering degree in a related discipline or a combination of certification and hands-on experience.
