Responsibilities

We have a senior level position available for an electrical engineer with substation design and power system study experience; the position includes leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers in the design of highvoltage substations. Specific tasks include supervising a team of engineers and EITs, completing power system studies, developing equipment specifications, assisting with procurement, developing design drawings, drafting energization and commissioning plans, conducting on-site field inspections, supervising the site commissioning of the substation and its equipment, and working with clients and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

This position requires that the successful candidate is legally permitted to work in Canada and is eligible for registration with of a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with either APEGA or EGBC.

A condition of employment for this job is that you maintain your Class 5 Driver's License in good standing as travel to remote work sites and supplier facilities will be required.
