Service Now Business Analyst (3972)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Service Now Business Analyst for our client.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define and document functional and technical requirements in a large multi-client application service organization.
• Conducting system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Performing business analyst activities related to the continued growth of the ServiceNow platform, including the deployment of additional modules and functionality.
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements for ServiceNow implementations.
• Implementation of Change Management processes, procedures, CAB and Critical.
• Creating functional specifications, wireframes, and process flows to communicate the envisioned solution to the stakeholders
• Providing end-user training and support.
• Designing and configuring ServiceNow modules, workflows, and applications.
• Initial focus is on:
• Gathering requirements for Asset and Service Catalog.
• Participating in ServiceNow upgrade and release management activities.
• Defining and implementing a continuous improvement life cycle to ensure that catalog items are reviewed and optimized.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance productivity.
• Analyzing existing business processes and identifying areas for improvement and automation using the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ServiceNow platform and modules.
• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• 4 years of ServiceNow experience.
• Project Leadership experience is a plus.
• ITIL Certification V4 is preferred.
• Experience in requirements gathering and process design and including form layout, fields, and workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes, including Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Incident Management and Problem Management.
