Role Mandate:
The analyst will have experience working with marketing databases and building and automating complex direct marketing campaigns that drive the business forward. Working with Leads Management, responsibilities include implementing campaign data requirements developed by internal business partners, developing technical specifications, producing and quality-testing campaign data files, identifying and remediating issues along the campaign workflow, and managing relationships with stakeholders.

Group Culture:
This individual will be working both individually and, in a collaborative, diverse team-oriented environment. There are one-on-one meetings monthly to provide HM with updates pertaining to any issues, questions, or potential delays. MS Teams is available throughout the day for team members to communicate. Teams are very supportive of one another.
Project Information:
• SAS / SQL
• Assigned campaigns to analysts to work on (slow, medium, and high complexity)
• Walk through with Leads Manager to describe campaigns and which markets to target
• Fill out implementation documentation
• Creating channel files for vendor to send emails to customers for specific targeted markets
• Completing audits to ensure correct customers are targeted
• Everyday Banking (EDB) products – chequings and savings, investment products, and digital campaigns
• SharePoint system in place and Kanban board to track campaigns and ensure all steps are followed and delivered on time
Role Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute direct to consumer campaigns
• Review and analyze campaign business requirements and produce Technical Implementation Plans
• Prepare customer lists with campaign management toolset to meet the requirements of documented technical requirements
• Build potentially recurring campaigns with automation in mind and automate campaigns as required
• Identify issues and make recommendations for campaign improvement
• Manage project timelines and key deliverable dates
• Establish a two-way working relationship with internal partners and proactively communicate project status updates to Campaign Production Manager, Leads Manager, Measurement Analysts and Product & Marketing business partners
• Conduct campaign technical audits and review data output to ensure accuracy
• Support the lead generation cycle by monitoring file execution processes and ensure final output meets regulatory requirements, is complete and available for execution by internal systems and external vendors
• Ensure campaign requirements have documented business partner approval prior to file development and execution
• Make recommendations to streamline, enhance and improve overall operations
• Engage in knowledge transfer with other Campaign Analysts to ensure projects are transferable
• Trouble shoot critical issues, as required, to ensure the lead generation cycle remains on track and provide required support to Campaign Managers
• Contribute to campaign definition documentation and template library to support standardization of customer data extracts
• Act as a project leader for small to medium sized projects
Must-Have Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of campaign or database marketing experience
• High level of proficiency with SQL and SAS
• Working knowledge of customer relationship management, campaign design and development
• Solid and proven background in business process improvement
• Experience in data analytics, developing and executing direct marketing campaigns, analyzing marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Ability to translate business strategies into technical requirements
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous baking / FI experience
• Unica Campaign or equivalent experience
Soft Skills:
• In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have proven written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, quickly shift between competing and sometimes conflicting priorities in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
• Manage expectations and multiple complex projects simultaneously
Educational Background:
