The Senior Director S&OP, (Sales and Operations Planning), will lead the improvement and implementation of the end-to-end planning process across all Leclerc business units, including demand, supply and inventory (working capital) balancing. The Senior Director S&OP will formalize and develop the S&OP process across all business units to link demand and supply to execution. The Senior Director S&OP will implement a global S&OP process supporting demand planning, supply planning and consensus alignment. The Senior Director S&OP's responsibility will include driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the end-to-end supply chain that increase capacity, optimize inventory and deliver customer service. He will support his team in achieving the objectives of the function, through accountability, trust and collaboration. This Senior Manager will drive a culture of change and continuous improvement through performance metrics, collaboration and feedback throughout the supply chain process. The Senior S&OP Manager works cross-functionally with associates from different functional areas to communicate common goals, gather information and build consensus.


Responsibilities


  • Develops models to optimize inventory planning parameters - such as safety stock - without negatively affecting customer service.
  • Analyze, recommend and implement supply chain solutions to ensure optimal supply chain execution with available products to deliver the aligned demand plan to our customers.
  • Standardize the metrics dashboard
  • Communicates clearly, directly and factually. Ensures a common understanding of agreements and issues
  • Presents and manages key performance metrics to provide root cause analysis and performance improvement recommendations that represent meaningful business impact analysis.
  • Prepare management-level presentations to support S&OP
  • Drive the S&OP process, including demand planning, supply planning, consensus, and facilitating S&OP meetings with functional partners.
  • Develop team to ensure common understanding of business strategies, processes and systems, through clear objectives and results.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of S&OE and S&OP with cross-functional partners to improve end-to-end visibility and mitigate risk.
  • Explore and implement innovation opportunities:
  • Leads S&OP actions that will resolve supply and demand issues and improve inventory, positively supporting the overall process.
  • Build a high-performance team through clear objectives, effective feedback and support.
  • Leads root cause analysis and process improvement solutions to increase global demand forecast accuracy and reduce global forecast bias.
  • Provides effective feedback to team members, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Works as a team with global cross-functional partners, demand planning, supply planning, operations and finance to align business and financial requirements with operational capabilities and requirements.
  • Measure, monitor and improve the accuracy of the S&OP plan with clear, defined indicators.
  • Enterprise performance management, reporting automation and digitization leveraging technology
  • Transforms data into information to support decision-making and action.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional partners to lead and complete key projects in support of S&OE and S&OP that will reduce inventory investments, maximize growth opportunities for customers, and drive supply chain optimization.


Qualifications


  • Ability to work independently, collaborate and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • 5 to 10 years experience in supply chain (forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, materials management, master planning, scheduling, life cycle management).
  • ERP experience. SAP ideally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven ability to train and develop team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in administration, supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics or operations.
  • APICS and/or IBF certification (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of S&OE and S&OP with implementation experience
  • Action- and results-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth experience of statistical forecasting tools and advanced planning systems software.
