Job Description
Reporting to the VP Finance & Deputy CFO, the Director, Planning & Analysis, is a multi-disciplinary leader responsible for enabling the achievement of HHS strategic objectives by providing a framework for performance management, delivering operational and financial plans and by providing analytical insight that allows leaders across the organization to understand how their day-to-day operations affect strategic commitments and outcomes at HHS.


The Director, Planning & Analysis, assumes accountability to design, lead and execute the annual financial & operational planning and forecasting processes to develop the annual budgets, quarterly forecast, multi-year plans and associated business support and activities ensuring board approved financial and operating objectives are met, identifying and interpreting risks and opportunities brought forward by executive and program leadership.


This position may be eligible for a hybrid remote work arrangement, in accordance with HHS’ Remote Work Policy.


  • Creative and critical thinking skills. Ability to articulate insights that drive business change is key.
  • Very strong technical skills.
  • Master’s degree in business and/or eHealth; CPA preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of clinical datasets (MOHLTC, CIHI, CCO, etc)
  • A change agent, with demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to build relationships, inspire teams, resolve conflicts, and influence outcomes.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of previous Management experience.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision as a dedicated team player and senior leader.
  • A minimum 5 years of senior level Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in dealing with financial planning & analysis, business planning, and clinical decision support.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, with highly-developed project management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Change Management/ Project Management Course or certification MIS Guidelines Level I and level II CIHI DAD/NACRS/NRS/OHMRS/CCRS Introduction to Coding OHA Healthcare Financial Management Diploma preferred.

Schedule Work Hours


Business hours, Monday-Friday, 9-5, with Director on call responsibilities.
