A company in the Porcupine, Ontario area is looking to hire an HR Assistant. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a permanent position.
Responsibilities

• Assist in new employee on-boarding orientation planning
• Oversee employee database records
• Manage a number of administrative duties
• Explore the internet to uncover potential customers

Requirements

• Accomplished in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment
• 7+ years experience in an HR capacity
• Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
• Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) overall
• Ability and willingness to travel to other sites 25% of the time
• Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
