POSITION SUMMARY
As the Manager, Human Resources Business Partner you will lead and inspire a team whose mission is to partner with the business to achieve our bold strategy while addressing the needs of our colleagues so that we continue to be an employer of choice. As such, you will work alongside senior leaders within the business units you support to align, develop and implement HR strategies and activities to respond to business needs.
In this high-impact role, we are looking for a bilingual (English-French) HR leader with strong business acumen and a passion for driving change in a matrixed environment. This position works closely with other HR Managers, business leadership and HR centers of Excellence and will be based in Burlington, Ontario or Montreal, Quebec.
Key Responsibilities

The successful individual will need to be action oriented as well as a strategic thinker. Acting as change agent you will be collaborating with various teams across the organization aligning them with our transformation goals. Here are a few strengths that you have demonstrated :
Ability to cultivate a sharp understanding of the business needs to effectively contribute to the organizational success by:
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement: Encourage a culture of learning, transformation and growth within HR and across the organization.
  • Getting fluent in understanding the organization's strategic drivers: and the strategies needed to bring alignment towards achievement of operational goals through talent strategies.
  • By staying updated on emerging industry trends, the latest developments, and best practices.
Strong capability to connect People initiatives to Strategic goals, collaborating and acting as super-connector with various team to sharpen:
  • The Organizational Design: your input and collaboration will be needed making sure that our organizational structure is efficient and effective to support our strategic goals.
  • Workforce planning and Talent Acquisition: Through strong understanding of key external factors and action planning, you will connect with Talent Acquisition to fulfill efficient and out of the box operations supporting our transformation.
  • Change Management: you will act as a Change Agent, collaborating with various teams and our transformation goals.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: by nurturing strong D&I values across the organization and aligning them to our strategic goals.

  • By finding ways to provide value to the key players and their teams, establish yourself as a trusted advisor.

Essential Qualifications

ACADEMIC TRAINING
  • CHRL certified or working towards certification preferred.
  • University degree is required.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR Management.
  • Minimum 10 years progressive HR Business Partnership experience.
SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
  • Organizational and time management skills are essential to succeed in this role.
  • Ability to leverage data to deliver insights and make data driven decision
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting functionalities.
  • Highly developed consultative, management and coaching skills.
  • Team oriented with solid interpersonal skills and a winning customer service attitude.
  • Business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence business partners while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ability to “think outside the box” and see the “big picture” impact of decisions/actions.
  • Demonstrated change agent with a learning attitude towards work and teams.
  • Bilingualism in English/French.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage change effectively. Proven problem solving and facilitation skills in a diverse multi-location work environment.
  • Sound understanding of multiple HR disciplines, their technical applications and impacts on business activities.
