We’re looking for our next Senior Financial Analyst, FPA . Could it Be You?

The purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide support to the Manager, FPA in QFG’s operational reporting, financial modeling, and analysis.

The Senior Financial Analyst works under the direction of the Manager, FPA, providing support in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and related management reports.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with special projects within the Finance team.
• Delivering insights into variance analysis and root causes of financial performance.
• Providing analytical reviews of revenue and cost.
• Performing reconciliation processes for various reports and systems to ensure data integrity.
• Supporting the Finance team in producing meaningful data / analysis.
• Preparation and maintenance of management and operational report(s).
• Supporting the forecasting and annual business planning across Questrade, including coordination of timelines and assumption alignment across business divisions.
• Providing support to the FP&A Manager in evaluating business cases including performing payback periods, break-even, and ROI analysis on various campaigns, projects, and products.

✔ Hold a post-secondary degree /diploma in a related field

✔ Have 3+ years of practical and analytical experience in finance, working within a financial / brokerage institution

✔ Have the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines

✔ Have experience interacting with all levels of leadership, both verbally and in writing

✔ Demonstrate excellent organizational and analytical skill

✔ Have advanced Excel skills

✔ Have the ability to work independently

✔ Demonstrate task ownership and analytical skills

✔ Manage multiple work assignments in a constantly changing business environment

✔ Have NetSuite experience

✔ Hold a CPA designation
