Senior Qa Engineer - Hybrid In Toronto

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Maintain and monitor the company's cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) to ensure stability and performance
• Design and implement automated tests for mobile applications
• Lead the mobile testing efforts for the company's products
• Stay up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends in mobile and cloud testing
• Ensure quality and reliability of products through various testing methodologies and processes

Requirements

• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Python)
• Extensive experience in mobile testing, with a focus on iOS and Android platforms
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and experience using AWS, Azure or GCP

Desired Experience & Skills

• Experience working with a team of other developers from project concept through development, QA, and release
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with full stack system QA - spanning mobile, backend, and cloud
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Engineering or other related majors
• At least 5 years of experience in software development or software QA
• Able to take a complex problem and break it in to discrete components divided out amongst a team
• Experience with instrumentation and devops
• Experience running QA for a cloud-based commercial solution
• Experience running QA on ML
• High degree of pride in your work
• Analytical problem-solving skills

Compensation

• Competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 per annum
• Hybrid work arrangement with three days per week in-office
