The Role:

As a quality assurance engineer at Kira, you will play a key role in defining how we maintain the high quality of our applications. You will help design, implement, and maintain automated tests for our suite of applications using industry best practices.

You will help identify, prioritize and execute on gaps in our current test and product coverage, and help guide both technical and non-technical teammates in proper testing techniques.

This role plays an important part in our company's success, and will help us define standards of quality.

Skills:

• Experience with BDD testing, Cucumber / Gherkin is a plus
• Experienced in writing / maintaining load tests
• Experience with both E2E and regression testing
• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
• Have designed and implemented testing suites from scratch
• Continuously improve the test automation framework and test coverage based on feedback and analysis of test results.
• Ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of script writing and execution in Javascript
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• 6+ years of experience owning and building automated test suites
• Experience writing thorough documentation that can be understood by less technical team members
• Strong knowledge of automated testing best practices

Compensation:

Salary Range: $92,000 - $113,000

Working at Kira

We are a remote first organization, and we have people working all throughout North America. Our Toronto (Yorkville) and Nashville (Downtown) office space is open for those who prefer in-person working, and we'd love to see you.
