Security Site Supervisor - Commercial Tower In Downtown, Toronto

Securiguard is currently looking for Security Supervisor for a High Profile Corporate Commercial Tower in Downtown Toronto.

As a security supervisor, you will contribute to manage a team as well as the safety and security of customers and all other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Previous security experience in healthcare industry would be an asset
• Must be physically fit and able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
• Minimum 3 years security experience
• Basic computer skills, and the ability to write and compile reports on computer software in a timely manner
• Previous scheduling experience for the site guards.
• Minimum of 1 year security supervisory experience
• Customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple situations and use sound judgment to handle emergency situations
• Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset
• Must be able to provide coaching, training, for new and existing staff
• Strong communication skills
• Organized with the ability to keep track of staff training records, expiry dates and book for training when required
• Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
• Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room systems
