Corporate Site Security Supervisor Jobs

Minimum of 1 year security supervisory experience

Minimum 3 years security experience

Previous scheduling experience for the site guards.

Basic computer skills, and the ability to write and compile reports on computer software in a timely manner

Previous security experience in healthcare industry would be an asset

Successful completion of a University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or related discipline or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.

Staff supervisory skills including knowledge of collective agreement administration and interpretation, labour relations principles and practices, and relevant employment legislation

Sound knowledge of financial, budgeting and economic principles and practices. 

Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation, Acts, and industry standards. 

Leadership ability to coordinate multiple projects and ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.  

Demonstrated ability in the Region’s leadership and corporate core competencies. 

Supervise and assist all regular officers with responsibilities delegated to them.

Multitask and manage time efficiently.

Working knowledge of Tracktic, SSIRS and WinTeam an asset.

Strong interpersonal skills, client service and professionalism in all situations.

Monitor and document performance and behavior of officers, providing mentorship and coaching as required.

Conduct investigations and perform appropriate follow-ups when incidents and situations occur as required.

Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders.

Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years due to clearance requirements

Minimum 3 years security experience

Excellent English oral and written skills

Maintain Uniform, Certifications, Credentials, Identification diligence always during shift.

Manage access and protection in security areas including gates, docks, patrol, and visitor.

Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in security.

Bachelor degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in Corporate Security environment/Law Enforcement;

Prepare accurate and timely written reports to the Senior Management team on findings and recommendations;

Private Security certification such as CFE (ACFE), PCI (ASIS), CFI or CFCI (IAFCI) (an asset);

Corporate Security or Law Enforcement background, including experience in security interviews;

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Display strong inter-personal skills such as when conducting security interviews;

Operation of the building management system, including managing access control, controlling elevator access, and conducting security investigations as required.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Manage and lead a team of security professionals in a 24/7 office environment.

1-3 years of Security supervisory experience preferred.

3-5 years of Security industry experience required.

OFA 2 certification is required.

Dealing with Client requirements on-site & reporting to ASP Manager

Standard First Aid with AED/CPR level C, must maintain the certification, ASP offers recertification at no cost
