What You’ll Be Doing

As Sr. Manager, Application Development, you will join CIBC’s Enterprise Technology team, Enterprise Data, Automation & Operations Technology department to direct solution delivery as well as to ensure stable operations and support.

This role focuses on directing, managing and delivering projects, aligned to CIBC high standards and quality of technical work. This group provides strategic partnership, production support and project execution to retail branches across Canada, three primary internet sites (CIBC Online Banking, cibc.com and Simplii Financial), telephone banking call centers across Canada, and mobile banking. As a Senior Manager, you will manage the team at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple platforms. You are a thought leader and have proven experience leading multiple teams of developers, responsible for end to end software delivery of microservices.

You will ensure compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls by applying them fairly and consistently so employees understand what to expect.

It’s an asset if you have experience using Agile/Scrum to deliver projects and are familiar with DevOps, in addition to Data Warehousing and High Availability application systems.
