Application Development Engineer - Hybrid

The Apps Dev Sr. Programmer Analyst is a technical position responsible for the implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Stress Testing Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems engineering and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, applications development, establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs.

Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.

Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality

Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes

Has the ability to operate with limited level of direct supervision.

Qualifications:

At least 7 years of relevant experience in developing java based applications and systems.

Banking Sector: Experienced Tech Lead with Banking experience.

Expertise in core java development, mongodb, micro-service, spring framework, and cloud architecture

Experience in test driven development and agile development framework

Expertise with Agile project management

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Ability to work directly with business stakeholders

Ability to work as a member of a team spread across time zones

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
