As a Homie, you will make an impact within our Business Operations team by:

• The role will require you to maintain a delicate balance between addressing short-term high-priority tactical business needs with pioneering longer-term initiatives requiring “big-picture” thinking
• Championing a self-serve data culture by designing, documenting and implementing new metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility into business and product performance
• Preparing executive-level presentations that clearly and succinctly communicate and explain the overall health and success of Homebase’s product efforts
• Scaling existing systems and processes - or help build new ones from the ground up – to facilitate our customer growth and take our product analytics efforts to the next level
• Becoming a product expert via defining, operationalizing, and analyzing key metrics that will drive the success of our existing and new features. Generating hypotheses, identifying growth opportunities and making recommendations based on data, working closely with product teams
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and other key opportunities
• Working alongside the Manager of BizOps & Strategy and product managers, you will play a crucial role in helping the team understand our business performance and set our product strategy

As a Homie, you are a bar raiser, this means you come with:

• Possesses a sense of urgency in line with our value of “No Day Wasted”
• Fundamentally curious and relentless in understanding the “why”
• Experience with SQL, Looker or other similar data visualization tools
• Financial modeling and presentation skills (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
• Track record of success in working cross-functionally, identifying and resolving issues independently, and generating results
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role such as BizOps & strategy at a high-growth startup or in management consulting, corporate finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively convey complex analyses to a broad set of people
• A lover of local businesses -- supporting and building great products for them
• Familiarity with SaaS business model and product development lifecycle is considered an asset
