Job Description

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Technology Sales Account Executive to join their team. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling technology hardware products, specifically focusing on POS Hardware solutions. You will be expected to build and maintain relationships with clients, identify their technology needs, and provide effective solutions to meet their requirements. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of our organization.


Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect, identify and develop new client relationships within the assigned territory.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all technology hardware needs.
  3. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  4. Collaborate with technical teams and pre-sales engineers to provide comprehensive product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to potential clients.
  5. Develop and execute effective sales strategies, including account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity forecasting.
  6. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure profitable business deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings of hardware solutions.
  8. Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to sales management.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
  10. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company's technology hardware offerings.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven track record in technology hardware sales, preferably with experience selling hardware technology such as computers, printers, desktops, POS machines
  2. Strong knowledge of technology hardware solutions, including computers, servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and associated software.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  4. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  5. Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  6. Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
  8. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for tracking and managing customer interactions.
  9. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  10. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
