We are currently hiring a Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join our inclusive, energetic, and dynamic people and culture team who exhibits our company values of integrity, respect, commitment, and passion.
The recruitment & onboarding coordinator will support the recruitment and onboarding initiatives for the Driving Force Group of Companies. Under direction from the sr. talent acquisition specialist, this role will be responsible for supporting the hiring managers in the recruitment process and ensuring proper setup and onboarding of new hires.

What You’ll Do
- Execute portions of the onboarding program (new hire orientations, 30 and 60 day check-ins)
- Create new hire offer letters
- Organize and maintain all recruitment and onboarding files, ensuring proper documentation of new hire files
- Collaborate with co-workers on continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes and procedures
- Responsible for processing recruitment related invoices and managing the employee referral program
- Conduct pre-screen interviews and participate in interviews as requested by the hiring manager
- Compose job advertisements, posting internally and externally on a variety of online career platforms
- Own recruitment and onboarding administrative tasks, initiatives, and inquiries
- Support the sr. talent acquisition specialist in planning and executing recruitment strategy, including attending job fairs and open houses at various company locations.
- Ensure new hires have completed all required onboarding steps and notify necessary departments
- Setup new hire in HCM system and send new hire packages to new employees
- Complete background checks including references, security clearances, Kolbe/Print assessments (if required) and driver’s abstracts

- Consistently follow established recruitment and onboarding processes
- Successfully manage multiple priorities with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results
- Adjust to ever changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail when setting up new hires in HCM system
What You’ve Done
- Experience using an enterprise-scale Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
- Proficiency using the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Minimum2 years of experience in a recruitment related position is required
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources, considered an asset
- Knowledge of Human Resource legislation, policy and procedure
