Job Description

TalentCompass is currently hiring a temporary (±3 months) Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator who will support high-volume recruitment and onboarding initiatives for a client. The role is responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment and ensuring proper setup and onboarding of new hires.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for posting and sourcing for all vacancies
  • Organize and maintain all recruitment and onboarding files, ensuring proper documentation of new hire files
  • Facilitate employment verifications and reference checks
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews
  • Process new hires and rehires following Company hiring policies, include booking pre-employment testing, collecting and distributing new hire paperwork and employee onboarding
  • Own recruitment and onboarding administrative tasks, initiatives, and inquiries
  • Collaborate with co-workers on continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes and procedures
  • Extending offers to successful candidates
  • Ensure the complete and accurate maintenance of employee information in HR system
  • Monitor and follow-up on the completion of orientation and onboarding training requirements.
  • Complete New-Hire Checklist, as required.
  • Conduct a high volume resume screening, phone screening, assessments and video interview screening. And, make recommendations to the hiring manager.


Qualifications

  • Strong ability to build rapport with different stakeholders, candidates and third parties.
  • Must have 1-2 years of recruitment experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Proficiency using the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Completed diploma/degree in Human Resources, or Business related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, especially as it relates to sensitive candidate information
  • Experience with BambooHR or similar platform is an asset
