Our multinational Retail client is seeking a Product Manager for the team. The Product manager is responsible for setting strategic direction and optimizing performance for a specific technology function (i.e. a "product"). He or she serves as the bridge between business and technology, helping to set business priorities and directing execution with technology teams.
Responsibilities
* Develop & maintain a strategic roadmap for his or her product, which typically represents up to $10MM of annual business impact.
* Maintain an agile backlog by defining requirements, building stories, and performing user acceptance testing.
* Direct the weekly efforts of an "agile team," composed of engineers, quality assurance specialists, and a project manager.
* Define targets and measure the performance of owned products.
* Develop business cases against major initiatives.
* Conduct independent research with customers & stakeholders, as well as evaluation of competitors.
* Communicate ongoing changes and business results with stakeholders.
* Participate in technical discussions with cross-functional teams to clarify business requirements.
* Support Adhoc critical issues, help troubleshoot issues and provide paths to resolution.
* Actively support the systems and capabilities in your portfolio by promoting defect fixes, frequently occurring support problems, and efficiency drains into your backlog to ensure ongoing optimization.
* Actively communicate with diverse groups of stakeholders through information sharing, listening sessions, training programs, clear documentation, and strategic vision presentations.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree.
* 4-6 Years of related experience.
* Experience with Agile
* Strong communication skills, written and oral, strong presentation, leadership, facilitation, and workshop management skills to diverse types of audiences (e.g., senior management, management, vendors, and technical staff).
* Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion and simplify complex situations by proactively identifying issues, determining the appropriate course of action, and building consensus.
