Our client, a well-known brand specializing in Labels, Cards & Crafting items, Binders, Index Dividers, Sheet Protectors, Hi-Liters & Markers, is seeking a talented Marketing Product Manager. The client caters to both Consumer Packaged Goods and Direct-to-Consumer custom printing. They are customer-centric and committed to providing exceptional products and service from their Manufacturing & Distribution facilities.

The Role:
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for conducting business reviews, developing strategies, and creating marketing plans in close collaboration with senior management, sales, supply chain, and other functional areas. You will take ownership of executing agreed-upon strategies and programs, which may include new product development, product line extensions, product refinement, new distribution, cost reductions, concept development, market research, pricing, competitive and category analysis. Additionally, you will play a vital role in identifying and developing marketing elements such as packaging, merchandising, and consumer promotions to support these programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to sales on RFPs for new and existing business
- Collaborate with supply chain on product launches, specification changes, and product exit plans
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and contribute to a healthy work environment
- Develop and execute marketing programs, consumer learning initiatives, and market research activities
- Create presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and execute all phases of the business plan with internal departments and external agencies
- Lead new product launches, from market assessment to pricing recommendations
- Execute marketing programs, monitor financial impact, and manage related expenditures within the approved budget
- Build and maintain relationships with outside agencies, product development teams, research teams, finance, supply chain, and sales
- Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned product portfolio
- Control consumer-related expenditures within the allocated budget
- Stay updated on competitive, market, and consumer trends to develop insights and formulate product line strategies
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Requirements:
- Excellent strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
- Proven experience in developing and launching new products and product improvements
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects to completion
- Broad perspective of business and operations, preferably in a large corporate setting
- Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and evaluating promotional programs
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to integrate cross-functionally
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Generalist experience in all aspects of Marketing
- College Certificate/Diploma in Marketing/Business (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proven ability to balance analytical and creative thinking
- Creativity in packaging and developing collateral materials and store displays
- Effective organization, planning, and multitasking abilities
- 3-5 years of related work experience, preferably in a consumer packaged goods environment
- High levels of motivation, initiative, and energy
