Summary
As the Product Lifecycle Manager, you will play a critical role in guiding the success of products from inception to end-of-life, ensuring they meet customer needs, achieve business goals, and maintain a competitive edge in the market. This role works in close collaboration with Product Managers, Sales, and R&D for Pleora’s hardware and software connectivity and manufacturing solutions.
What you do
- Streamlines processes and drives continuous improvement in all aspects of the product including quality, service, productivity, and overall costs.
- Own and manage the product development process from concept to end-of-life, including delivering documentation outlining business and market requirements, timelines, processes and workflows, system requirements, managing and helping prioritize feature requests, test plans, and deployment plans to ensure successful product releases.
- Manage pricing, price changes, and publish price lists in collaboration with Product Management, Sales Operations, Finance, and the executive team. This includes monitoring and maintaining manufactured product costing and reporting any appreciable changes.
- Serve as prime between product management and operations on ongoing maintenance of products, including managing ECO, MCO, PCN, and EOL processes and compliance requirements.
- Works cross functionally to ensure customer satisfaction by managing and tracking any product deployment issues – providing prompt and appropriate customer communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Operations, Sales, and Finance, on internal reporting processes such as product return maps.
What you need
- Post-secondary education, engineering degree is an asset.
- Strong logistics and planning background.
- PMI Certification is an asset.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects.
- 5+ years' experience managing product lifecycle in a tech environment.
- Familiarity with the product development process and the associated requirements of manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of PLC and PLM tools, experience with Arena as asset.
- Familiarity with software planning and development tools.
