We are currently seeking a Technical Product Manager to join the team within our EHSQ Portfolio in North America!
The Environment, Health, Safety and Quality (EHSQ) vertical within Valsoft Corporation develops software solutions for global enterprises with complex engineering assets and regulated processes, enabling them to seamlessly plan, manage, and control their operations whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. Our global customer base includes Fortune 500 companies in the Oil/Gas, Chemical Process, Food/Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Nuclear, Energy, Mining, and Manufacturing sectors. The Technical Product Manager is part of the EHSQ leadership team and reports to the CEO of this portfolio.

The candidate can be anywhere in North America, working from home or from any of our offices in North America!
What Your Day Will Look Like

• Own the commitments, timelines, deliverables, availability, scalability, and overall quality of all software solutions in EHSQ
• Understand the customers’ pain points and how the roadmap will solve them, and have a strong sense of urgency to deliver
• Motivate the team to share ideas and learnings to promote innovation and generate excitement within the team
• Responsible for charting and executing the course of multiple software solutions in parallel
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools and methodologies while increasing development efficiency
• Lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and postproduction support
• Establish clear goals and performance expectations for the teams
• Plan for the budget, resources, and tools required to support the business and evolve the product

About You

• 3+ years in managing software development processes and techniques
• Capable of learning new technologies, processes, or business quickly and effectively
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written are critical
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• Strong expertise in agile product management
• Above average at prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Background of diverse software development roles and increasing responsibilities
• 3+ years with web technologies and technical product Management
• Legally authorized to work in North America
• Strong knowledge/experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms, such as AWS and Azure
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• 2+ years leading, coaching, and mentoring diverse teams
• Strong knowledge/experience with system architecture and design patterns
• 6+ years developing complex software solutions
• Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate outcomes
• 2+ years managing within agile/scrum/kanban development teams
• Strong knowledge/experience with a wide variety of programming languages, frameworks, and tools used in the development of business applications
