To achieve this, we are searching for a Technical Product Manager in Digital Commerce who has a deep understanding of digital platforms such as ecommerce or mobile apps, to help drive the success of our digital commerce initiatives. This individual should have a strong background in managing technical products for digital commerce. Job Summary
The Technical Product Manager in Digital Commerce will report to the Head of Technology. In this role, the candidate will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and vision of digital commerce platforms and related technology initiatives for our brands. The candidate is expected to coordinate multiple vendors with the internal team to deliver scalable solutions that enhance our customer's online experience and boost digital channel sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Evaluation: Evaluate and prioritize product feature requests, ensuring that the digital platform meets evolving business and customer needs.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with software vendors, third-party integrators, and other technology partners to ensure timely and efficient project deliveries.
- Training and Support: Coordinate with the training team to ensure proper onboarding and continuous learning for users and stakeholders.
- Lead Product Vision: Define and oversee the product vision and roadmap for all digital commerce initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand goals and objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and IT to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
- Product Testing and Rollout: Oversee product testing processes, including managing beta tests, gathering user feedback, and ensuring smooth product launches.
- Market Trends and Analysis: Stay updated on digital commerce trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to keep our platforms at the forefront of the industry.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budget for digital commerce projects, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum return on investment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates, and ensuring alignment on product development and strategy.
- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement continuous improvement methodologies to optimize platform performance and user experience.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze platform performance metrics and KPIs, recommending improvements and optimizations based on insights.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in digital commerce projects and develop mitigation strategies.
We’d love to hear from people with
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, systems, and best practices.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical product management role, preferably within the digital commerce, e-commerce or QSR industry.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
You possess the following hard skills
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large data sets and drawing actionable insights using tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, PowerBI, etc.
- UX/UI Knowledge: Solid understanding of UX/UI principles to ensure optimal user experience on the platform, able to create high fidelity wireframes/mockups using figma or similar tools.
- Technical Integration: Proficiency in integrating digital platforms with other systems like POS, inventory, and CRM.
- SEO/SEM: Understanding and experience in Search Engine Optimization and Marketing to enhance platform visibility.
- Coding and Development: Basic knowledge of programming languages or platforms commonly used in e-commerce, such as Python, JavaScript, or Shopify.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Basic understanding of security protocols and best practices to ensure platform integrity.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Trello, for managing product development cycles.
- E-commerce Platforms: Proficiency with major e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
- Mobile Apps: Familiarity with Google Android Play Store and Apple iOS Apps Store, deployment, notifications, feedback, and analytics.
- A/B Testing: Experience in running and analyzing A/B tests to drive platform improvements.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of tech support, installing and troubleshooting hardware, OS, email, such as GSuite.
- Database Management: Knowledge of database systems, SQL, and the ability to extract relevant information efficiently.
- API Management: Understands API integrations, and how they connect various digital solutions and platforms.

Compensation
- Bonus: up to 10% depending on company & personal performance
