Sr. Product Owner

Reporting to Director, Digital Product

Mandate

We are looking for a digital product owner to:

  • Innovate and execute product strategy, through a scrum team and an innovation workstream
  • Deliver best in class products and services for our customers, while maximizing the value of the backlog, managing product profitability and commercial success
  • Put the customer at the centre and focus of everything we do.
  • Own and deliver the product roadmap, and continuously demonstrate how the roadmap ladders up to the KPIs
  • Take a human centered design approach to discover new ways to solve problems for our customers
  • Operate effectively within a scrum team with the goal of building best in class digital products for our customers
  • Translate business strategy into product strategy
  • Be a recognized digital thought leader within the company, and build a cross functional following. (ex: with legal, compliance, technology, marketing)


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in digital onboarding preferably with desktop & mobile technologies
  • PSPO is an asset, however preference will be given to demonstrated real-life experiences and outcomes
  • The ability to work in a team setting and serve value.
  • In depth knowledge of financial onboarding, and be familiar with regulatory rules regarding information capturing, handing of data during transit & at rest
  • Proficiency in interaction design for native mobile & hybrid digital properties
  • A digital expert in a financial related field
  • Has deep technical understanding of web technologies, and can demonstrate the benefits of each
  • A deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process including how to develop and use design research, journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals to achieve human-centred design solutions
  • Someone who continuously takes initiative and embraces change
  • Able to harness the power of servant leadership to foster a highly productive scrum team
  • Experience bringing innovation ideas through ideation, and launching into the market
  • Ability to solve product problems while balancing user experience (strategy and research, information architecture, interaction design)
  • Someone who listens to diverse perspectives with an empathetic attitude.
  • Someone who recognizes our customers as our most important stakeholders.
  • A lifelong learner that is performance driven.
  • Minimum 3 years PO delivering products in a highly complex environment
  • Can navigate and balance between customer experience and digital security


Work Model

We have adopted a hybrid model, leveraging the best of remote and in-person work. This work model however can differ depending on roles and leaders.
