Purpose


Optimize project delivery through its lifecycle, provide Document Management functional transition planning from legacy EDMS, and training for Aconex and SharePoint. Assist the Functional Document Management Lead with input to the development and maintenance of the global EDMS standard build, application security, documentation, reporting, systems integrations, and participate in new release testing and rollout.


This position can be worked remotely from any global location.


Responsibilities


Project Transition from Legacy EDMS Support


  • Proactively seek out ways to help projects and users maximize efficiency using Aconex and SharePoint
  • Deliver presentations to the project team as required
  • Maintain a strong working relationship and rapport with projects to ensure objectives are being met and solutions applied are effective.
  • Participate in project discussions, investigate, and understand project requirements, and provide guidance on the development of the transition plan to ensure alignment with the global Document Management work processes and toolset.
  • Develop training schedules and deliver required training.


Training


  • Provide training to users online with global standards and project Document Management requirements.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of training documentation.


New Release Testing and Implementation


  • Test all modules/functions used in the global standard configuration.
  • Ensure projects will not be negatively impacted by the upgrade.
  • Plan and support production rollout.
  • Report issues to Functional Lead for resolution as needed.
  • Help communicate changes to the users.


Systems Knowledge and Continuous Improvement


  • Investigate ways to improve productivity, efficiency, or information availability and visibility for projects.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Document Management Systems in all modules and associated work processes.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of functional work processes and procedures, overall EPC business, and project execution.
  • Work with the Functional Document Management Lead on the EDMS Standardization Project to configure standard builds of the systems, address gaps from legacy EDMS, develop work instructions as needed.


Collaboration with the Business


  • Coordinate in-house education, promotion and awareness programs for project staff and business unit managers
  • Regular meetings with the EDMS Standardization Project and Global Document Management Functional Owner


Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices, etc. - understand and follow the Worley OneWay Framework.


What You Will Bring


Technical and Industry Experience:


Job Specific Knowledge


  • Strong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables, and workflows.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Document Management principles.
  • 10+ years’ experience with Aconex and/or Document Management systems usage, support, administration, and configuration.
  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.


HSE Capability


  • Demonstrate behaviour and business practices commensurate with a culture of world’s best health, safety, and environmental performance.


IT Skills


  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • General knowledge of systems (operting systems, software installation, and configurations).

Required


Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:


  • A recognised degree or equivalent qualification/experience.


Preferred



  • 10+ years of relevant Document Management experience; preferably using Aconex or equivalent.
