Salary Range: $55,000 to $60,000 pro-rated
Job Purpose
Thrive Youth, an organization that provides leadership development opportunities through arts-based education to children and youth in underserved communities across Canada, is seeking a Regional Lead.
A Thrive Youth Regional Lead is responsible for overseeing, administering, and coordinating Thrive Youth programming within one determined region. The Regional Lead supervises, supports, and manages the facilitators associated with their portfolio of programming. They are also the key contact for stewardship within the region. This role reports directly to the National Manager of Programs & Advancement to ensure that curriculum and programming expectations are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Regional Lead’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program Planning:
·In consultation with the National Manager of Programs & Advancement:
oAdhere to a budget outline and annual work plan
oEstablish target regions/schools
oDetermine programming content per Thrive Youth budget and reach goals
oDetermine artist-educators, suppliers, and venues
Program Coordination and Delivery:
·Coordinate and manage facilitators, co-facilitators, substitute facilitators, artist-educators, volunteers
·Manage staff on-site and oversee program delivery
·Maintain communication with all key stakeholders (school staff, parents/guardians, students, volunteers, supporters, etc.)
·Organize events and excursions specific to portfolio programs (showcases, performances, workshops, etc.)
·Oversee the purchase & use of programming supplies
·When required, attend and facilitate programming
Program Reporting:
·Complete all provided reporting templates
·Complete brief educator-oriented summaries for each programming day, to be shared with program stakeholders weekly
·Ensure that facilitators capture the following and submit materials after each program day for filing, reporting and development purposes
Management:
·In consultation with the National Program Manager, recruit, interview, and select well-qualified program artist-educators and facilitators
·Implement the human resource policies, procedures, and practices of the organization
·Oversee day-to-day work of reporting staff
·Ensure reporting staff are positively engaged in Thrive Youth’s organizational culture
Development and Stewardship:
·In consultation with the National Manager of Programs & Advancement and Director of Programs & Impact, foster and maintain connections with program stakeholders and partners.
·Engage volunteers in meaningful program involvement
·Support National Manager of Programs & Advancements in report writing on the program for management and funders
·Connect students with appropriate partner outlets for further leadership growth beyond Thrive Youth programming offerings
·Support the development team in collecting content and information, generating ideas, and drafting funding proposals and partnership documents
Qualifications
·Genuine passion for empowering and uplifting young individuals, demonstrated through past engagements or personal initiatives.
·A bachelor's degree in a related field such as youth development, social work, education, or a relevant discipline.
·Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively with 2 years of experience managing staff.
·Familiarity with the local youth community and the ability to design and implement programs and initiatives that address their unique needs.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage and connect with both youth and adults.
·Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders, local organizations, schools, and funders.
·Proven experience in planning, organizing, and executing projects from inception to completion.
·Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
·Experience with project evaluation and reporting
·Experience working with non-profit organizations or community-based initiatives is an asset.
·Familiarity with standard office software and online collaboration tools.
·Current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
·Current First Aid & CPR-C Training an asset

Reports to:National Manager of Programs & Advancement
Direct Reports:(Region Exclusive:) Facilitators, Co-Facilitators, Substitute Facilitators,
Artist-Educators, Volunteers
Internal Contacts:Works collaboratively with all departments, and supportively with the full staff team.
