About The Role
The Project Manager will focus on supporting public education initiatives, enhancing the delivery of legal services to clients and supporting the implementation of firm systems.
Working directly with one of the firm's partners, the Project Manager's primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing deadlines and projects across the firm by coordinating workflows, tracking deliverables and supporting a collaborative work environment
• Developing relationships with clients and lawyers to ensure clients' needs are met
• Coordinating with clients on funding applications, budgets, and reporting, including liaising with lawyers and clients to track fees, costs, deadlines and funding opportunities
• Working with team members to deliver public education initiatives, including drafting educational materials, supporting the development of course syllabi, and managing internal deadlines
• Creating and improving processes to streamline workflows
• Supporting the firm's lawyers with managing and tracking client files, including by participating in and preparing for client meetings, coordinating internal deadlines, drafting file updates, monitoring file progress, preparing draft materials, managing client documents and liaising with clients

What You Bring
The Project Manager will have the following combination of skills and experience:

• Strong ability to self-manage, organize and multi-task numerous projects of various sizes
• Demonstrated commitment to serving and advancing the interests of Indigenous Peoples
• University degree plus five years of relevant project management experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Creative approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of law-firm processes, lawyer-client relationships, and project-management concepts
• Detail-oriented
• Digitally enabled and comfortable with using and learning technology
• Confident, articulate and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Keen interest in public education
• Ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with Indigenous communities an asset
