About the Role:

Reporting to the Director, Design Services, you will support the implementation of AGF’s corporate brand standards, the creative direction of campaigns and thought leadership. You have a strong understanding of graphic design, motion graphic, typography, layout, UX principles, and technical knowledge in video, audio/podcast recording and production. In addition, you will also produce PowerPoint presentation for client roadshows.

Your Responsibilities:

Video Design & Production:

• Ensure the files meet the production guidelines for each project
• Develop and adapt graphics to insert into videos to support communication strategy (charts and graphs)
• Design and execute AGF master and sub-brand videos, motion graphics and audio for Thought Leadership, insights, blogs or special events etc.
• Translating data and insights into visually-arresting elements for video
• Record, produce and edit a variety of videos and podcasts led by a senior member of the design team and with various members of the marketing and communications team
• Collaborate with the Digital Strategy team to develop and implement assets for on-line postings

Audio & Podcast Production:

• Collaborate with the Digital Strategy team to develop and implement assets for on-line postings
• Ensure the files meet the production guidelines for each project
• Record, produce and edit audio recordings for podcasts and voiceover for regularly scheduled recordings with executive and investment management team members in partnership with various members of our marketing and communications team for audio planning and development
• Provide music recommendations and sound effects to support podcasts

PowerPoint (PPT) Design & Production:

• Assist in creating and modifying templates for internal and external purposes - PowerPoint and Word
• Develop PPTs for webcasts and multi-city roadshows with internal partners
• Act as lead PPT tester for pre-events to ensure presentations run to expectation during live presentation
• Translating data and insights into visually arresting elements for PowerPoint presentation
• Work with Creative team and internal stakeholders to maintain integrity of AGF’s PowerPoint presentations and templates
• Design and production of all presentation media for AGF sales and corporate events

Your Qualifications:

• A portfolio to demonstrate professional and creative work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated solutions provider that has ability to multi-task
• Diploma or degree in video and graphics design disciplines
• Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), MSOffice Suite,
• Experience working in a Mac environment
• Experience with audio and video editing

Expert working knowledge of the following programs:

• Apple Logic/Garageband or ProTools
• Adobe Audition
• PowerPoint
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop

Working knowledge of the following programs:

• Adobe InDesign
• Cascade or comparable content management systems
• Adobe Acrobat
