Department OverviewWith offices located around the world, the strength of TD Securities Global Operations and Business Services lies in the diverse and dynamic group of individuals who provide critical infrastructure services that support and/or control the trading, investment and corporate banking functions of TD Securities. Job DetailsWe are looking for a high functioning individual to lead an institutional equities operations desk with the desire to develop innovative and strategic solutions. The candidate should have proven influencing, relationship management and client interaction skills. The team is directly involved with internal and external trade desks and clients. Overall drive is to integrate new business, identify and execute on process enhancements and improve client service levels while reducing risk. This opportunity will give you the chance to flex your knowledge and experience in a dynamic environment.


  • Oversee CSA soft dollar program.
  • Set priorities and goals for team in both workflow and technology integration.
  • Overall accountability and governance of cash breaks and monthly reporting.
  • Provide metrics for business to identify bottlenecks.
  • Guide team with unified vision for accountability and opportunity.
  • Act as direct contact with low/high touch trade desks and Investment Advisors.
  • Develop and maintain sound working relationships with our clients and internal groups to ensure a high level of service.
  • Liaise with clearing broker for identification of efficiencies and opportunities.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ongoing 1 on 1 to maintain the pulse of the team.
  • Act as face of operations with custodians and internal partners.
Job Requirements


  • End to end understanding of custodial and introducing/carrying broker relationships.
  • Hands on knowledge of New Issuance, NCIB workflows.
  • Familiarity with Fidessa CTP and AS/400 is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of order management systems utilizing DTCC OMGEO/SSCnet/CTM.
  • Ideally 6-8 years of progressive experience within capital markets, preferably in a Trade Support role with exposure to and in-depth Operational Knowledge of Institutional Equities Business.
  • Intimate knowledge of depository settlement life cycle (CDS/DTC/Euroclear etc).
  • Technical skills in automation including data analytics. Nice to haves include VBA, Tableau, Alteryx, Python and UI Path.
