Job DetailsThe Benchmark Rate Reform (USD LIBOR & CDOR Transition) Delivery team within TDS Data, Delivery and Innovation is responsible for leading the full transition of the TD Securities' trading and lending IBOR-based exposures, book of record system trade capture/processing, valuation, and reporting capabilities over to alternative risk-free rates that will become the new industry benchmark for financial transactions. To complete this transition in alignment with industry and regulator expectations, the team partners closely with an extensive range of stakeholder groups from across Front Office, Trading Business Management, Capital Markets Risk Management, Market Risk Control, Technology, Operations, Finance/Accounting, TBSM, and Regulatory Reporting.


The Manager / Stream Lead Will Be Expected To


The Manager / Stream Lead will provide leadership on one or more sub-streams of the program working closely with the Program Delivery Lead and other program stream leads in establishing a comprehensive/integrated plan and carrying through to execution.


  • Expertly tailor communications and presentations with the optimal level of detail and context to convey an impactful message or concise ask (including for VP, SVP level consumption).
  • Leverage strong domain and delivery experience and well-established senior stakeholder relationships to influence partners towards tangible outcomes/solutions while ensuring appropriate level of transparency, reporting and escalation.
  • Proactively identify and manage cross-stakeholder group interdependencies.
  • Facilitate detailed requirements discussions across stakeholder groups and promote optimal testing plan/strategies.
  • Formulate recommendations regarding delivery/implementation approach after consultation with key stakeholder groups on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies and other implementation constraints.
  • Structure and manage detailed end-to-end implementation plans, holding stakeholders accountable for progressing against established scope/timelines while providing timely and effective communication on project status, risks, issues, analyses/findings to senior-level audiences.
Job Requirements


  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to formulate concise and impactful methods of communication.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or other data analytics tools an asset.
  • Prior experience in organizational change management/delivery and project leadership.
  • Familiarity with Benchmark Rate Reform (USD LIBOR / CDOR Transition) an added asset.
  • High-level of organizational awareness and demonstrated ability to effectively lead/manage projects with wide breadth of cross-stakeholder impacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently apply expert judgment with available information when proposing solutions/recommendations.
  • In-depth familiarity with one or more of the following functional areas: Operations, technology, risk management, quantitative analytics, or business management (5+ years).
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Superior organizational skills, including ability to employ systematic approach for identifying and tracking dependencies, ensuring proper resolution of outstanding items, and structuring efficient stakeholder meetings/discussions.

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Master's degree in related discipline an asset
  • CFA or FRM designation an asset
