Manager Events, Engagement, and Advisor Enablement

What will you do?

• Manage the relationship with external vendors such as video editors and event platforms to ensure we are maximizing our contracts and keeping up to date on new features/ services
• Manage all aspects of the online event process, as appropriate and required by partners, including creating the invitation, managing the registration process, overseeing event logistics, providing client follow up, promoting post-view recordings through marketing channels and sharing post-event analytics with advisors and senior leaders.
• Maintain a centralized resource centre for events and keep calendar of events updated and flag any dates where multiple events may be happening to mitigate advisor, employee and network overload
• Manage post-event reporting and analysis
• Manage the production of an internal podcast providing WMC employees with news they can use in an audio format – targeted to enable advisor teams
• Provide input and offer technical guidance to determine proper digital platform and offer ongoing support including booking events, creating registration links, as required
• Work closely with RBC WM Communications and content stakeholders on external community storytelling efforts.
• Support Branch Directors with virtual recruitment events aligning with hiring dates, prospect invitations, follow up and social media promotion to attract new IAs, Women IAs and Associates
• Work with Brand Marketing and Digital Marketing to promote virtual events and associated collateral on external advisor and corporate websites and social media channels, as appropriate.
• Promote relevant and compelling marketing and thought leadership collateral and resources that align with virtual event content and highlight our best-in-class wealth planning and investment services.
• Work with Digital Marketing and Corporate Citizenship to create, promote, and execute virtual client events designed to educate and inform Canadians on issues including, but not limited to, the environment, emerging Canadian artists, aging Canadians, financial literacy, economic empowerment of women, and youth mental health. Events should incorporate RBC’s broader Purpose of helping clients thrive and communities prosper.

Job Summary

The person will have the technical and soft skills to create and execute national virtual and hybrid events for internal and external audiences. The person will work with senior leaders, community partners, internal and external subject matter experts and outside vendors to produce educational, informative and engaging events that can be enjoyed both live and in playback. Events will support RBC Wealth Management Canada’s (WM Canada) strategic business and corporate citizenship initiatives to build brand, develop business and tell the WM Canada story inside and outside of RBC.
