New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Learning and Development Analyst to help our client support a variety of infrastructure and cloud projects within a growing portfolio. This role will work closely with the Senior Project Managers – Cloud Services to support change readiness, develop training/education materials and provision transition activities in order to deliver a successful implementation of Microsoft Exchange online, Teams, and other Cloud Services projects for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics and facilitate the organization of workshops and training sessions
- Assist in designing and implementing customized training programs targeting specific stakeholders
- Perform comprehensive product testing to analyze key features and functionalities, and identify how stakeholders can best utilize them to achieve their goals
- Work with Senior Project Managers and Change Lead to confirm learning needs, and support design and development of effective training programs
- Coordinate with corporate Learning & Development team as required
- Work with the management team and Senior Change Lead to understand overall training resources, assets, knowledge base and communication needs
- Facilitate meetings (inclusive of agenda, minutes and other meeting materials)
- Support other Cloud Services change management team members (e.g. testing and training)
- Produce presentation and training materials / videos, status reports, etc. and other related administrative tasks
- Support development, distribution and tracking of project communication materials as required
- Prepare educational material such as online learning module, learning aids, user guides, videos, etc.
- Draft reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for senior management and governance working groups
- Continuously collaborate with team members and stakeholders to align workshops and training sessions with training goals and meet participants' needs
- Frequently conduct seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions, online or in-person (most likely online)
Requirements:
- Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
- Willingness to keep current with new techniques and technologies in corporate teaching
- Degree/Diploma in Communications, Business Administration or related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to deliver on time and on budget
- Critical thinking and decision making
- Experience developing and implementing clinical change management and communications plans
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively facilitate discussions with a diverse group of stakeholders, users, etc.
- Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
- Instructional design experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clinical and business stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Certification from a training association
- 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare environment
- Working knowledge of hospital/clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, policies, and standards
- Experience designing and implementing training strategies that support adoption in a large, complex multi-stakeholder environment
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt evolving technology requirements as they are introduced during the project and applying these into a clinical context to meet user requirements
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- 2+ years of experience as a trainer, corporate training analyst, or related position
- Ability to take ownership and independently drive progress
- Ability to translate and express clinical, process and technical problems, outcomes and benefits using layperson terms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in technical writing
