The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Learning and Development Reporting Coordinator to join our Talent team for a 6 month contract.

This role can be mostly remote, however we will on occasion require you to come onsite to our office at 1111 West Georgia St, Vancouver, BC.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, the coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day reporting and analytics required by Aviso internal stakeholders and our CU Partners. The Learning and Development Reporting Coordinator will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of L&D activities and projects as directed by L&D partners.

What your day looks like:

• Provide management with training analytics and trends
• Provide regular follow up, summaries to management on learner course/curriculum progress
• Manage and respond to training and L&D inquiries from Credit Union partners and other departments within Aviso
• Tracking and reporting of internal aviso training activity for Aviso employees, and external CU advisors
• Submit and follow up on inquiries to regulators on tracking and reporting of CE
• Tracking and following up on continuing education (CE) activities for applicable registrants
• Manage distribution of progress reports to credit union Wealth Leaders on registrants progress to complete required CE requirements

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines by effectively prioritizing and multitasking
• Liaising with line managers and delegates to ensure all staff are booked/registered on required learning events
• Team player attitude, with a flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities
• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information
• Carrying out research as directed into training providers or other information
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Learning Management System an asset
• Strong computer skills especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• Assisting with periodic reporting requests such as learning records and producing reports as required
• Managing annual mandatory training calendar
• Advising staff on training policies and procedures
• Prefer minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a similar support role
• Post-secondary education in administration and/or business, a focus in L&D is an asset
• Knowledge of financial services, mutual funds, securities and/or life insurance products would be an asset
• Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
• Professional, customer service disposition
• Well organized and able to work effectively to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
