Kitchen Assistant, $15.50/Hr +Gratituties(Sandbanks)

As a Sandbanks Winery Dishwasher, you create the experience our guests remember. From the moment they arrive, you have a direct impact on the lasting memories by providing an exceptional tasting experience and beyond. We are looking for an energetic person able to handle a wide range of tasks such as dishwashing, cleaning and bussing the tasting bars. This person should be able to handle dishwashing for a large winery tasting room, as well as general cleaning of store and other areas in the building. Perfect summer job for students to prepare them for future jobs in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

• Work well as part of a diverse team.
• Able to work weekends throughout the season.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Courteous, friendly, positive attitude.
• Detail oriented, multitasking ability and strong work ethic required – individually and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary.
• Thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Must communicate effectively with tasting room staff.
• Able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises.
