Our manufacturing client Brockville is looking for a Human Resources Generalist for a three-month contract with a possibility of permanency.


The Generalist’s Duties Will Include


  • Maintaining HRIS and hard copy records
  • Implementing and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Coordinating benefits and acting as payroll backup
  • Ensuing legislative and corporate compliance in all HR activities
  • Supporting recruiting and talent management activities
  • Other duties as required
  • Supporting full cycle HR services


Requirements


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:


  • Good understanding of broad Human Resources issues including but not limited to:
  • Talent Management
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, CHRP designation a strong asset
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Human Resources management role
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Employee Relations
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-activity manufacturing / engineering environment a strong asset
  • Training and Development
