HR Generalist
The HR Generalist role is crucial for overseeing various HR functions, from benefits to policies, fostering a positive work environment, and enabling effective communication. Join us to make a significant impact on employee well-being and organizational success.

Salary: : $80,000 - $90,000
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support corporate HR with investigations and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Manage employee pay, benefits, attendance, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate with corporate HR, Payroll, and employees for Benefits, RRSPs, Payroll, HR, & Short-Term Disability Claims.
  • Provide relevant HR training and maintain accurate HRIS employee database.
  • Update attendance records, prepare disciplinary actions, and support supervisors and managers.
  • Act as a resource person for labor relations, publish communications, and organize engagement activities.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in Workday and Dayforce is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a union environment.
