Support the Director, Total Rewards in benefits administration, leaves management, and compensation planning

Minimum of 1-2 years human resources management experience, ideally working in the Tech or Information Services sectors

Create and enhance new and existing policies and procedures

Administer hourly and salary payroll with oversight and review from the Head of Finance

Be the key point of contact for new employee and manager questions pertaining to HR policies and benefits;

Support the people team with annual compensation programs (i.e. merit increases and bonus plan) and performance management;

Diploma in Human Resources Management or Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field;

Possess comprehensive expertise in key HR areas such as recruitment, compensation, total rewards, performance management, and talent management;

Partner with stakeholders to coordinate logistics to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences;

Initiate and implement all benefits, pension enrolments, departures and changes.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of performance management processes.

Prepare HR reports and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations to management.

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and paperwork completion.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and benefits.

Support managers in setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback.

Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients;

Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health' clinical models.

Building Maintenance Mechanic (Community College 2-year Certificate Course), or equivalent Certificate of Qualification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of equipment and machinery typical to environment, with skill in welding and hydraulics.

2+ years of experience/training relevant to the mechanical/technical trades.

Certificate of Qualification in a relevant mechanical/technical trade i.e., Millwright, Stationary Engineering, etc.
