A well reputable organization in North Vancouver is seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR function and contributing to the success of our organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Please note: this role is 100% in office.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and making job offers.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Employee Relations

• Promote positive employee relations and foster a healthy work environment.
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Performance Management

• Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
• Support managers in addressing performance-related issues and providing coaching and guidance.

Benefits And Compensation

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to benefits and compensation.
• Assist in compensation analysis and job evaluations to ensure market competitiveness.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.

HR Administration

• Assist with HR reporting and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Support HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, employee engagement programs, and HR process improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
