Hr Generalist (Boomi) Jobs

Job Summary

As an HR Generalist at Boomi, you'll manage all HR-related activities to ensure on-site support to employees in our soon-to-be-opened office in downtown Vancouver. This role will partner with HR and Leadership teams to promote Boomi's culture and enrich the employee experience as we grow our footprint in Canada.

What You'll Do

• Lead the execution of corporate HR initiatives in Canada, driving HR functional excellence
• Investigate employee relations issues and performance concerns while maintaining confidentiality, consistency and sensitivity
• Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local employment law
• Assist HR team with special projects as needed
• Advise on courses of action related to daily issues with employees that include but are not limited to discipline, attendance management, and other work-related problems
• Review and explain HR policies and programs and assist with the rollout of updated or new HR programs and initiatives
• Create and maintain proactive, effective, and trusting relationships with leaders and employees to provide advice, guidance, and counsel on HR matters locally

The Experience You Bring

• Full working knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory aspects within Canadian employment and labor laws including grievances and investigations
• Bachelor's degree in HR Administration, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role, with knowledge / expertise in: employee relations/investigations, coaching/mentorship
• Experience supporting/partnering with sales teams in an HR capacity
• Demonstrated ability to influence and work regionally to align business and HR strategy

Bonus Points If You Have

• Master's degree
• Experience with talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation & benefits
• PHR, SPHR, or similar certification
• Experience in the Tech/SaaS / iPaaS industry
