What YOU Will Do

Reporting to the IT Coordinator, the IT technician will primarily ensure that the company’s computer equipment works properly and provide support to all users. Most particularly, you will:

• Have fun working with a dynamic team!
• Install, maintain and upgrade equipment; troubleshoot and resolve problems;
• Maintain an inventory of available telecommunications equipment;
• Ensure new employees have all required equipment, on time;
• Supply construction site equipment (printers, photocopiers, phones, cell phones, computers, Internet connections);
• Test and install computer hardware/equipment;
• Provide troubleshooting and resolution services to users;
• Prepare equipment for shipment to construction sites and offices;

What YOU Will Bring

• Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, diplomacy, thoroughness and discretion.
• Good teaching skills;
• Advanced English skills, both written and verbal;
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite;
• College diploma in computer technology or other relevant field, or other training related to this position;
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout the Alberta Area;
