Job Summary
Arnett & Burgess are looking for a skilled and proactive Deskside Support Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our employees and ensuring that all IT equipment and systems are functioning efficiently. You will be required to diagnose and resolve technical issues, install hardware and software, and assist with network connectivity problems. As a Deskside Support Analyst, you will also be required to maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and work with other members of the IT team to improve processes and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
University Degree or College Diploma in Information Technology related discipline is preferred. Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Office based with occasional travel to field locations as needed.
Hours: Full-Time. Monday – Friday.

As a Deskside Support Analyst, you will also be required to maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and work with other members of the IT team to improve processes and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established IT policies and procedures.
- Install and configure software, operating systems, and other applications.
- Provide training to end-users on new hardware, software, and technologies.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the IT team to improve processes and enhance user experience.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Provide on-site technical support to end-users for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and work performed.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff for resolution as needed.
- Set up and configure new devices for end-users, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
University Degree or College Diploma in Information Technology related discipline is preferred. Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Ability to remotely troubleshoot iPhone and Android issues.
- Must be self-motivated and a team player.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Experience with remote endpoint management software.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and the Office 365 Suite.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an Information Technology related role.
- Experience with scripting or programming in a language is an asset (JavaScript, PowerShell, PHP, C#, SQL).
- Experience with Active Directory is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
