It Business Analyst (Investments)

We are assisting our investment industry client with the search for an IT Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

Your main responsibilities will include Level II support, requirements documentation, release management, change controls, and testing system implementations/updates.

Compensation: $75,000 - 85,000, comprehensive benefits and more

Office location: Toronto downtown (Hybrid: working on-site 1 day a week)

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the impact of application enhancements and updates.
• Prioritize and resolve customer problems and inquiries effectively.
• Participate in corporate projects and initiatives as required.
• Demonstrate a rational and organized approach to work.
• Collaborate with business areas and I.T. to develop solutions based on requirements.
• Monitor and escalate Level II problem resolutions as needed.
• Assist in training users in application and system usage.
• Understand and document business/systems requirements for existing systems and processes.
• Investigate and document system bugs (Defect Management).
• Evaluate and recommend new products and upgrades.
• Collaborate with the testing team and/or vendors to provide technical support and analysis.
• Manage requirements gathering for upgrades, migrations, and approved projects.

Qualifications:

Must-have:

• 5+ years of previous IT Business Analysis experience
• Previous experience in the investment industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Design products and forms management.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in SQL and data warehouses is an asset.
• Ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Dataphile OpenView and Microsoft CRM Dynamics is an asset.
