About the role:


We’re looking for an Associate Manager, IT to help us drive various IT projects, and support our users, a multitude of SaaS applications, our internal network infrastructure, and our IAM platform. As the people leader and technical team lead for our Systems Administrators, you will provide them with mentorship and guidance as you collaborate on driving various projects forward by breaking down projects and taking the associated tasks to completion. In addition, you will work on IT process improvement projects as well as help our systems administrators with day-to-day IT activities as needed. In this role, you will partner with Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure our IT ecosystem remains secure and compliant. As our Associate Manager, IT you will report directly to the Director, Business Technology & Compliance.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment
  • Ensure IT plans and investments support scalability, security, and compliance requirements
  • Work extended and/or alternative hours if needed for roll-outs, system upgrades, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Business Technology & Compliance related to sustainability and scalability of the IT operations of a fast-growing SaaS organization
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability, proactively identifying and addressing issues
  • Coordinate and prioritize team tasks, projects, and resources to ensure timely and effective delivery
  • Identify and address skill gaps, provide training opportunities, and promote professional development
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Implement the company's IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives
  • Engage in ongoing assessment of new software and hardware solutions
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, including staff laptops, networks, and cloud services


A little bit about you:


  • Delightful approach to communication, engagement, and customer service
  • Experience with Single Sign-on providers and password management tools
  • Knowledge of Cisco Meraki networking infrastructure
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects
  • Experience in automation using Python and/or Bash, leveraging APIs when available
  • In-depth working knowledge of Google Workspace and accompanying apps, Zendesk, Slack, AWS IAM
  • Affinity for process improvement, information transfer, and effective documentation
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in IT management or team leadership, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Comfortable using and navigating the command line
