The Role

Sauce Labs is looking for a Director of Business Applications who is passionate about working in a fast-paced and growing SaaS environment. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations this role will be responsible for the design, development, testing, integration, implementation, documentation, and support of business applications systems and solutions. This is an influential role, making investment and priority trade-off decisions, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts while delivering business solutions on time with the right quality. Key business applications include Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, Gainsight, and other applications that support various business processes across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Finance, and Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between internal teams across GTM, Finance, and Engineering
• Responsible for guiding the Salesforce CRM platform for the company technologically, strategically, and operationally by collaborating with stakeholders and executive leadership
• Direct and prioritize the workload of personnel and/or assigned consultants
• Approve all business requirements prior to the technical solution, review design, develop unit, end-to-end and integration testing plans where applicable
• Manage business application configurations and customizations in support of business requirements as needed
• Collaborate with business leaders and decision makers to develop the overall global Business technology vision and strategy
• Partner with VP of Revenue Operations and stakeholders to build the projects roadmap and ensure that it continuously reflects business priorities and business needs change

Required Skills

• Well organized and can manage ambiguity to rapidly changing priorities
• Effective verbal/written communication. Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with business leaders/stakeholders
• We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building. As a result, Saucers located near an office location must be able and willing to come into the office. Those hired remotely must be able and willing to travel to an office as required by the specific role.
• Understanding and ability to follow InfoSec guidelines, principles and IT services
• Applying creativity/innovation to solving complex problems; developing and communicating a vision for a project/ systems
• Salesforce functional and configuration experience, translating and streamlining business processes within Salesforce to transform overall end-to-end operations
• Functional expertise implementing and managing Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Service Cloud, NetSuite ERP, and other SaaS applications supporting business processes including: Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc.
• Hands-on management of system support organization, including ticket prioritization and backlog curation
• A bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or similar and approximately 10+ years of related work experience; Master's degree a plus
• Prepare and deliver effective presentations, documentation including functional requirements doc, project plan, process definition, training docs, etc.

We are excited to share the base salary for this position exclusive of fringe benefits, potential bonuses or stock-based compensation. Your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, along with its relationship to the base salaries of current team members at Sauce Labs that are similarly situated.

US Compensation Range

$179,400—$235,000 USD
