About This Team
As part of our overall global Inbound Logistics origin operational roadmap will be regionalizing our support, we have established presence in Vietnam and Hong Kong to focus regionally and strengthen operations in proximity with our finished good vendors. Next key step, we build up the presence in North America to support growth. This role is vital to the Senior Manager, Global Origins to be overseeing Rest of World (ROW) origins operations other than Asia. They work closely with origin logistics and vendors. They are delegated the attorney to make prompt decision effectively and report/escalate any issue for next-level decision. It's the escalation point of contact for the production team in Vancouver LLO office and Sourcing partners.
a day in the life

• Responsible for ROW origins logistics after finish-good vendors (FGV) submitted the bookings.
• Collaborate with Asia and control tower teams for any initiatives
• Regional escalation point for the origin logistics performances of finished-good vendors and service providers.
• Monitor and maintain performance of origin Logistics Service Provider (LSP)
• Mitigate risks and being the escalation point for origin teams including LLO, finished-good vendors and LSPs.
• Support Sourcing partners to onboard new vendors and set up new origin logistics, if any
• Support operationally the global strategic direction and initiatives e.g. Transportation Management System (TMS), drive the process change with all stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in using excel to dissect data and basic analysis
• Bachelor degree holder or equivalent
• 5-8 years of related industry experience
• Travel may be needed but not frequent
• Based in Vancouver or West Coast
• Experience in GTNexus or equivalent is bonus
