Contract Logistics Site Supervisor Jobs

Profit and loss responsibility for site (comprehension of pricing models)

Directs and assists site teams and controller in analyzing strategic and tactical processes and related costs

Liaises with client to acquire detailed understanding of their short and longer term service needs

Provides technical and process advise and gauge client’s satisfaction levels

Ensures compliance with Health and Safety procedures and practices.

Review of site level business plans to support the attainment of corporate objectives and budget

Minimum 10+ years of prior contracts management experience in an EPC/EPCM, mining, or heavy industry environment.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, Business law or equivalent experience.

Monitor contract compliance, review of schedule adherence, lead all contract change management activities (site instructions, drawing transmittals), claims avoidance.

Solid communication and presentation skills

Knowledge of the Canadian Bidding Law is required.

Investigate and resolve invoicing issues and close-out of subcontracts.

Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.

Work successfully within a team environment and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other project team members.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering + at least 4 years of relevant experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working around mobile heavy equipment.

Ensuring quality assurance in order picking processes to meet customer requirements.

Monitoring picking and packing activities to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

Occasionally operating a forklift to facilitate loading and unloading when required.

Scheduling pickups, coordinating with couriers, and managing waybills for timely delivery.

Maintaining inventory control by receiving inventory physically and updating the ERP system.

Leads cross-functional efforts through managing Operations & Finance teams to deliver & report accurate savings commitments & R&O’s.

Bachelor’s degree required in Business- Finance- Economics or Accounting preferred. Supply Chain orientation is a plus.

Minimum 2+ years’ Excel mastery and financial systems acumen preferring Hyperion Planning and Business Objects. VBA/automation experience is preferred.

At least 2 years of SAP experience is strongly preferred.

Minimum 2 years of CPG experience strongly preferred.

1-3 yrs. Logistics Routing experience focusing on efficiencies preferred

Support and assist Supply Chain manager as well as supply chain coworkers as required.

3-5 years direct supervisory experience in a shipping/logistics capacity

Supports the day-to-day activities of a central warehouse facility, including shipping and receiving of orders.

Plans and supervises efficient receipt, storage and distribution of supplies, specialty items, and equipment in central warehouse,

Provides direction and follow up to appropriate shipping & receiving personnel

Provide leadership in continuous improvement initiatives as needed and requested to increase warehouse efficiency.

Oversight of data extraction and report management.

Post secondary education required or equivalent work experience.

Manage new customer implementations, improvement projects and customer change demand.

Manage the system support process, including customer and operational escalations.

System validation - ensure that processes are aligned with customer requirements and KN internal standards. Participate in quality and compliance audits.

3-5 years work experience in a similar position in a multi client Contract Logistics environment

Experience with or knowledge of the handling, storage and disposal of Hazardous Substance and Dangerous Waste

Landfill experience is an asset

Ensure all T1 and T2 fleet transport requirements are met.

Manage drivers daily, use coaching and progressive discipline as required to ensure behavioral, performance and safety expectations are met.

Continuously manage cost and look for opportunities to improve across entire transport network.

Maintain forklift safety and certification requirements.

Diploma in Business Management or Supply Chain or equivalent

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Manage warehousing and shipping activities; and operate forklifts when needed.

Manage and control expenses, including labor and overhead costs.

Maintain and coordinate the load out schedule with in-house distribution and outside contractors.

Monitoring case management to ensure the best customer experience is provided - Salesforce

A suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience may be considered

Specific knowledge and experience working in the North America contract logistics market

Understands the customer's business (strategically, operationally, financially) and understands the customer's buying process and identify all influences, intimately understanding their requirements.

Relevant work experience with a proven track record in winning new customer

Previous Canadian work experience or experience working directly with Canadian industries

Develops and executes a comprehensive territory plan aimed at identifying the top regional/industry opportunities and expanding business to new accounts.

Must possess a working knowledge of advanced technical problem-solving tools

Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in oil & gas construction.

Ensure safe and efficient execution of construction projects in accordance with specifications, codes, and standards.

Coordinate and supervise multiple construction contractors, overseeing specific scopes of work (civil, mechanical, E&I, tank) as assigned.

Participate in construction and commissioning planning, review contractor documentation, and prepare daily progress reports.
